Today the student body was given 2025 SnoWeek t-shirt order forms. We will be having our annual COLOR WAR on January 31st to kick off our 2025 SnoWeek. If your student is interested in ordering a shirt, please fill out the form and send it back to the school by January 14th. Cost of the shirt is $13.00. If your form didn't make it home be sure to ask your child about it. We accept cash, checks (make them to GSPS), and we also have efunds set up on the website.
We will begin our archery season Wednesday, January 8th after school. This week we will practice after school Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday you will receive a practice and tournament schedule. See you Wednesday!

Happy New Year! 2025 is going to be a great year-- just a reminder that school will resume on Monday, January 6th. Be sure the kids are dressed warm!!!! We are excited for a great second half of our school year.

Reminder that tomorrow, December 20th, 2024, students will be dismissed and buses will run at 1:30 pm. Additionally, please remind all 7-12 graders that they are required to check-in their school issued devices and chargers before 1:30 pm TOMORROW.

We have made a few fixes and have some heat in the building. We will plan to start the day at 10:30 am. No breakfast will be served. The building is chilly, so please bundle up and bring extra layers.
Due to a problem with our heating system from yesterday's outage, there is no heat at GSPS. School and buses will run 2 hours late, for now.
If we are not able to restore heat in the next couple of hours, we will have to call off school. We will keep you posted.
Currently, Ottertail is having issues with power city wide. We have been told it could be a couple more hours before things are resolved. GSPS plans to keep kids in school until the end of the day, whether steady power returns or not.

Semester tests for grades 7-12 will begin on Wednesday December 18th.

School will be dismissed at 1:30 pm on Friday, December, 20th!....SURPRISE!

Reminder, tomorrow December 10th is the HS Christmas concert at 7:00 p.m.
Each family is asked to bring some Christmas goodies to share. Hot chocolate and Apple cider will be provided.
All Shop Class trees are sold! Thank you to everyone that purchased a tree. The students had fun designing and making them and the proceeds will help to get supplies for next semester. Be on the lookout for another fun project that may be available before the end of the school year.
