We love having our families join us for home events, and we appreciate your support in making them enjoyable for everyone! To keep our events safe and fun, we kindly ask that all children stay in the stands rather than playing in the hallways. This helps prevent any accidents and keeps our facilities in great shape.

Another busy week in Pre-K. We celebrated our 101st day of school, Learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. & Read the story of Little Red Hen. 🥰 🐶 📕🐓
Our next Coffee with Kids will be Friday, February 7th, from 9:00-9:30. It's National "Send a Card To a Friend Day"- be prepared to write a note to a family member or friend and spend some time reading together.
As a Thank You to our school and community the Gackle-Streeter FFA will be serving breakfast on February 14 from 7:30 am - 9 am. Please join them in celebrating the start of National FFA Week.

SnoWeek 2025 is quickly approaching.
FRIDAY IS OUR COLOR WAR- t-shirts will be here Wednesday. If you did not order one, just wear your designated class color.
Activities will begin next Monday.
Today is our "101 Day of School". We are going to have a SUPER DAY!
Here is the Coins for Carnations Campaign by Elem. Student Council information. Please bring in a few coins and pay $1.00 to wear PJs to school Friday, January 24th!
Sunday, January 26th from 2:00-6:00 we will have a SNOWEEK- workday for students in grades 7-12. Students have to option to come and begin working on some art for their designated hallway. Students plan to use the doors by the office. There will be a sign in and sign out sheet for this day. Please come with a positive attitude, a smile, and be ready to collaborate and work with your classmates. I am looking forward to a fun afternoon creating some fun art and making positive memories!!!!

The first graders have been learning about scientific method! They experimented with buoyancy today! They had to predict if the marble alone, and the marble in a container would sink or float!
Today the student body was given 2025 SnoWeek t-shirt order forms. We will be having our annual COLOR WAR on January 31st to kick off our 2025 SnoWeek. If your student is interested in ordering a shirt, please fill out the form and send it back to the school by January 14th. Cost of the shirt is $13.00. If your form didn't make it home be sure to ask your child about it. We accept cash, checks (make them to GSPS), and we also have efunds set up on the website.
