This new program from Sanford Harmony is awesome! We have spent these last few weeks learning about diversity and inclusion. We are learning so much about the importance of being different and accepting people for who they are!
Today the students made a poster with a buddy answering four questions:
1. If you could be any animal what would you be?
2. What is your favorite food?
3. Which would you rather visit the mountains or the ocean?
4. What do you want to be when you grow up?

PLEASE BE SURE TO SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL WITH PROPER WINTER GEAR- jacket, snow pants, hat, gloves, and boots. I am guilty too- I left this morning in a hurry with no boots… I get it! Mother Nature caught me off guard today- let’s make the rest of the year a safe one! Be safe- stay warm— and have a great night!
Gackle-Streeter School will dismiss students at 2:50 pm and buses will run at 3:00 pm, TODAY, January 18th, 2022. All after school activities have been canceled.
Last week's Coffee with the kids has been rescheduled for this Friday, January 21st!

The 100th Day of School committee would like to apologize for any confusion the shirt order forms caused. We met this morning and decided that we would LOVE for this to be a school-wide project! 100 students, 100 shirts, and 100 signatures on those shirt!!! PLEASE help us in making this happen! We are extending the due date. Order forms will be due on FRIDAY January 21st. Order forms will be going home with high school students today. E-funds is setup on the school website if you would like to pay online. We also have an option to make a donation towards shirts for students who aren't able to get one. Attached is the order form! Even though there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, January 17th,
there is a JH Boy's Basketball game vs. EKM in the GS gym at 4:00 pm!
Also, since there was no school on Friday we have rescheduled Dauson Day for Monday, January 24th!

Student Council will be hosting our 3rd COFFEE WITH THE KIIDS event tomorrow at the school from 9:00-9:30. Please bring your coffee mug and join us in the gym while you enjoy listening to our students share their amazing reading skills. Hope to see you all there— weather permitting of course!!!
