Our class had a guest presenter in the classroom on Friday. Mrs. Hattlewick’s “Animal Science” class will be in our room for the next 4 Friday’s sharing their knowledge and skills with our class. We enjoyed the power point and clip about the stages of embryonic development in a chicken. Great work!

We have been talking about motion and how things move. We did an experiment to see what would go farther when we blew through a straw a piece of balled up paper or a linking cube. The paper went farther! We had so much fun making this discovery! :)

With the updated guidelines regarding close contact quarantine and face masks it is more important than ever that all patrons entering the Gackle-Streeter School building wear a face mask. We will continue to require that masks be worn in all common areas and in all school busses and vehicles. Parents, please be sure to send a clean mask to school with your child every day. More information regarding the updated guidelines from Governor Burgum can be found on the School's website under News.

Welcome to the SmartLab Carnival! The GS 5th & 6th graders were given the task to build something that could be found at a carnival using any resources they could find. The results were very creative! We have a basketball game, a ring toss game, a monster truck derby, a roller coaster, a food stand, a baseball toss game, a zoo, and two rodeos!
