1st grade reading, writing, math, science, snack, and art were all Dr. Seuss inspired in honor of his birthday. We ended our day buddy reading for reading month.

Tom Nitschke was at our school with the “I Am Resilient” training. Kids enjoyed their time with him. He left our school with a smile on his face and the biggest compliment about what nice and polite kids we have, and a positive culture we have within our building. I am so proud of GSPS. We are so blessed!!!
Logan County Spelling Bee was held today. Congratulations to Eli as he advances on to the State Bee in Bismarck on March 21st.
There WILL be Royal Force Wrestling practice after school today, February 22nd.
The Region 3 Girls Basketball Tournament has been further postponed until Thursday, February 24th. Our Imperials will play @ 3:00pm at the Jamestown Civic Center.
The District 6 Boys Basketball Tournament will tip off on Saturday, February 26th @ 3:00 pm in Napoleon.
Reminder Puffin and Butterbraid orders are due this Thursday, February 24th. Also, for those who are ordering and not close by or even if you are, we have the electronic payment method available through efunds on the Gackle Streeter website!
This week is FFA Week. There are dress up days and lots of fun activities all week. High School students be on the look out for Silly Sally the dairy cow hiding in the HS side of the school. Due to the continued inclement weather going in to this evening- School & buses will run 2 hours late tomorrow, February 22nd at Gackle-Streeter.
