It is that time of the year and SHORT SEASON has come to an end. Moving forward I am asking that students no longer wear shorts to school. It is time to break out the winter gear.
Just a friendly reminder to everyone to dress warm and bundle up.

The Book Fair will be open from 3:15- 6:30 pm on the 27th for Parent Teacher Conferences!!
We finally have some concert dates. We are skipping the Fall concert due to scheduling conflicts with sports. We are having a Fall/Christmas concert for the High School on Tuesday, December 20th at 7 p.m. The Elementary Christmas concert will be on Tuesday, December 6th at 6:30 p.m.
There will be an Emergency Management Training tomorrow, October 21st, 2022 at Gackle-Streeter Public School. Numerous large emergency vehicles will be at the school. Please avoid the school grounds and the surrounding area from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Reminder--This is a planned training.

1st grade ended the week with art a round of elementary freeze tag.
There was a misprint in the newsletter that was just sent out. Sorry for the mistake but the school carnival proceeds were $3200 not $32000. I wish it was the later but it was a great success and we appreciate all the support the Gackle-Streeter FFA chapter got to host it.
Wednesday, October 19th- GSPS Student Council will be hosting a Blood Drive at the school from 10:00-4:00. We do have some spots open if anyone wanted to stop by as a drop in. Don’t forget your I.D. Thanks to all the hero’s in this community who are signed up to donate.

Government Class worked hard creating board games based on "How a Bill Becomes a Law." They really enjoyed playing each others game today!
