On May 8th, the 5th and 6th graders traveled to the Firehall and learned about CPR and how to administer it from our local EMT staff. Thanks!

Tonight is the Gackle-Streeter Elementary Spring Concert at 6:30 pm in the GS Gym! Students need to be here by 6:15 pm!
The Kindergarten class has practiced their walk up the aisle. The instrument songs have been prepared. The dresses and peasant clothes have been fitted, the lines and the lyrics have been memorized. Tomorrow's the day for our Spring concert! 6:30 p.m. in the G-S gym.
Second graders will have their last library time this week. PLEASE return ALL books by Thursday. Also, bookmobile comes next Tuesday.
I (Mrs. Seigman) am out today with a sick child. That gives you one more day to get those t-ball/softball forms in. T-ball/softball forms are now due WEDNESDAY MAY 8th.
The 3rd and 4th graders have a big project due tomorrow for social studies. Please make sure it is completed!

Congratulations to our students who competed at state music on Saturday. The Quintet (Haley, Anizye, Hanna, Allison, Dauson) & Dauson's bass clarinet solo received stars. The duet (Brian & Dauson) & Anizye's solo received 1's. Awesome day and kids!!!
Prairie Winds 4H meeting will be Tuesday May 7 at 6 pm so that parents can come to discuss the county fair forms. Please try to attend. We will also talk about our display booth at the fair and other upcoming 4H activities.

We have been learning about the Earth and how we can conserve natural resources. Today we made necklaces out of an old milk jug to reuse the jug :)
