Sad to say, but there will be no HS large group contest this Tuesday.

Zoe ended the speech regular season - and perhaps her career - on a high note. She placed 1st in Radio Broadcasting at New Salem's A-B meet on Friday which earned her a second entry into the state meet!

NDHSAA has suspended all Spring & Winter extracurricular activities until further notice. This includes elementary and high school sports, academic, speech, and music competitions and practices.

Reminder the HS Choir will be attending Large Group contest in Oakes on Tuesday, March 17th. Ladies are wearing dresses and gentlemen are wearing dress shirts & black dress pants for the performance.

First grade book orders are due tomorrow, March 12th.

The ND Youth Risk Behavior Survey Parent Information Letter has been sent home with students in grades 7-12. Please review this letter and return only if you DO NOT want your child to participate in the survey.

There have been a few confirmed cases of Influenza Type A at GSPS. If your child is displaying any symptoms please have them checked and keep them home from school.


NOTICE: In an effort to avoid the spread of Infuenza and COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Gackle-Streeter School will be requiring all students to use hand sanitizer as they enter the cafeteria. There has also been added measures to wipe down desks door knobs, countertops and other surfaces that students come in contact with. Please keep students at home if he/she is experiencing flu symptoms. Thank you for your diligence on this matter.

Puffin and Butterbraids will be arriving tomorrow around 2:45 p.m. We don't have a lot of freezer space, so they need to be delivered as soon as possible. Thank you!

Reminder to all the HS parents that have students going on the Music trip. We need either a confirmation from you that you have taken out the insurance, or we will submit the waivers you signed earlier. Tomorrow (3/10) is the deadline.

This weekend marks the end of the regular season for speech, and there are two events planned. On Friday, we head to New Salem for their afternoon meet. On Saturday, we head to Wishek. Be sure to wish them the best of luck!
